Name --- Sadiq Adnan
Nation --- Türkiye Cumhuriyeti
Aliases --- Anatolia, The Ottoman Empire, Turkey, Turk, Sadiq, Sadik, Yeti, Old man and many others.
Apparent age --- 28
Actual age --- Way too freakin old. Lets just say before Rome, Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt disappeared from the face of the planet. He was around for Troy if that means anything.
Gender --- Male
|-|-The External-|-|
Eye color --- Green
Hair color --- Brown
Height --- 188.976 cm (6’2)
Weight --- 83.6 kg (184lbs)
Skin tone --- Olive
Defining features --- A tattoo of the crescent and star on the back of his neck.
Additional features --- Sadiq has a tendency of concealing half of his face with a white half mask. The mask had been given to him by his second Sultan Orhan I who had discovered it on one of his conquest and gotten it for a younger Sadiq. After the death of said Sultan Sadiq swore to continue wearing the mask as a reminder of what has, could and will happen. It’s there to constantly remind him of his growth as an empire and nation.
During his time as the Ottoman Empire Sadiq enjoyed dressing himself in lavished out really out there outfits. They were all made of the finest and most comfortable material. Luxury is something he enjoys greatly and what better way to show it than in ones wardrobe. His outfits had a tendency of concealing his identity by covering him up completely. There was a reason other than his like for such outfits. One of these reasons being that because of his status as a nation the men of his empire would find it out that such a person could live for so long without aging or dying. It was a way to draw eyes away from him and make the general public believe that the person in such an outfit was being constantly replaced.

Personality ---
With all his lavish outfits and constant mask wearing many people (nations) may think that there is something off with Turkey and they’re not completely wrong. He’s not the sanest of the lot but who’s actually sane anyway? Turkey has a possessive nature and hates losing regardless of his long losing track record (The decline of the Ottoman Empire especially the wars against Russia). He can be quite ruthless especially when something dear to him is threatened or even just if one was to provoke him into a fight. If push comes to pull Turkey will gladly engage in violence and with an enthusiasm that can be a little unsettling. He’s determined and pig headish which sometimes gives him the image of being arrogant (which he is especially to those he doesn’t really like). It doesn’t help that he’s also pushy and will not cease until he gets his way. However, he does have his finer points for example his love of visitors and his enthusiasm in sharing his culture. Turkey can also be quite formal but only to a certain extent. The good thing about this Eurasian nation is that he’s very comfortable with himself no matter how awkward you try to make him feel.

Fears ---
• Being wiped off the map
• A repeat of the fall of The Ottoman Empire
• Losing his national identity
Lesser known facts ---
• When Sultan Mehmed II was in power Sadiq had first thought him a brat but after the sultans determination to gain Constantinople and his success his opinion changed. His sultan was a very open minded man who often sat in on church sermons and would read up on other cultures, philosophy, science and anything he could get his hands on. Sadiq would often accompany his sultan to the church sermons and listen to Mehmed II speak of the things he had read up on.
•After conquering a new territory during his time as an empire he would force the young boys of that nation to join his army. They would break them down and re-create them as a super soldier for the Ottoman Empire. Of course, they had just as many opportunities to grow in the army as any other soldier regardless of their ethnicity.
• The Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, as time went on, were less Turkish and more Eastern European and Greek since the mothers of these descents were of different ethnicities. The harem in Topkapý Palace was filled with women who had been taken from the Ottoman’s emirate states. Of course, there were still Turkish women in the harem as well but they were never chosen as the Sultans prime lover.
• Sadiq is still touchy about Ataturks death. He feels as if the man had been cheated out of life (Even though Kemal had a bad tendency of indulging on alcohol and drinking way too much coffee for his own good on top of smoking and other such vices). Ataturk was like a father he had never had.
•Even though Sadiq had taken over many emirate states losing Greece had been one of the hardest things that had occurred to him. Although he had been a harsh guardian to the Greek he did care about him and only wanted the best for him but that is a secret he’d take to the grave.
•He has always wanted to secretly wax, pluck or shave England's eyebrows.
Goals ---
•At one time Sadiq’s goal was to make Islam the principle religion in the world by expanding the empire across Central, Eastern and Western Europe.
•Turkey is still trying to gain acceptance into the European Union. Although, with the current problems occurring in the Union Turkey is grateful for the long delay in his ascension but still wants to get in.
• There are still many problems within Turkey’s government that need to be fixed and so far it’s been going well but he hopes to improve his country from every aspect.

Roleplay example ---
December 16, 1991
Turkey was being ushered onto a plan by his Prime Minister Süleyman Demirel who early that day (much too early for his liking) had been woken up by loud poundings at his door. Groggily he had greeted the person...or was it people...ah hell, he couldn’t remember he had still been asleep. Anyway, to cut things short the Prime Minister had barged into his house, dragged him to his closet and picked out his clothes before shoving him into the bathroom. This entire intrusion had bewildered the tall Turk and being too tired to actually protest had followed orders accordingly (for once).
Upon exiting the bathroom dressed in his finest clothes Süleyman had been sitting on his now made bed reading his very old copy of Arabian nights. Sadiq only remembered being irritated at being disturbed at...he glanced at his clock six in the fucking morning! Regardless of his noticeable irritation Süleyman gave him a smile and an amused chuckle. “Good, you look presentable.”
Sadiq frowned at his Prime Ministers words. He always looked presentable! “Of course I look presentable. I always look presentable. What the hell is this all about Süleyman?” The personified nation asked biting back his flaring temper. He hated being disrupted from his sleep at such unreasonable hours. Demirel could only laugh at the look of contained anger that had manifested upon Sadiq’s face. “You and I will be flying to Belarus. It’s time that the world recognizes her as an independent nation from the Soviet Union.” He explained while gently closing the book and setting it on the night table beside his bed.
Sadiq stared at him in bewilderment. They were going to Belarus?! He gritted his teeth and combed back his hair in frustration. “At six in the fucking morning?!”
Süleyman laughed again. “So eloquent with your words Sadiq. Yes at six in the morning. Now, let’s get going.” The Prime Minister of Turkey pushed himself off the bed and began to make his way towards the front door. Sadiq was about to follow when he remembered something very important, his mask, and quickly went to fetch it before joining his Prime Minister in the awaiting vehicle.
That had been the events leading to his short plane ride to Belarus. Süleyman Demirel had not told him all the details but he had a feeling that Belarus and he would not be sitting in on most of the political and/or economic talk that would develop between the two officials. Well, the one good thing about this whole trip was the thought of spiting Ivan. Take that Russia!
“Turkey?” Turkey was shaken out of his thoughts by one of the security guards that had accompanied them. “What?” The man stared at him for a few seconds before shaking his head. “We’re here.” Letting out a sigh he made his way out of the plane and towards the continuation of this strange day.
