Board Description
Ancient History (Prior 400 CE)
When remembering antiquity, many recalled the birth of democracy in the city-state of Athens, the trading genius of the Carthaginians and the military prowess of the gallant Roman Empire. Others remembered the settlement of the Indus river valley while others recognized this time as the rise of the ethereal Middle Kingdom now known as China. In a world lit only by fire, civilizations flourished as man pursued the love of wisdom, seeking to understand themselves and the world around them. However, these times were not peaceful as ambitious leaders sought to expand their territory and conquered other civilizations.
