Role-playing history in itself is hard, let alone trying to figure out how to role-play an alternative history thread. So before you decide to dive into a scenario, here are some things to take into consideration:
♔ Know the original reasons for why your country did what they did. This seems a bit obvious, but it honestly helps if you do your research before diving into the scenario. Because if you decided to research as you go, there is a chance that you may have a hard time figuring out what to do because unlike historical threads, where the information is already and available online, alternative history threads not only require the history but also time invested in figuring out the proper reaction given the changed scenario.
♔ Talk through the situation with all related parties. This was pretty much a given when it comes to doing historical threads, but this is even more important when doing AUs! So please communicate, it'sthe key to any successful relationship very important!

When you do your thread, please make sure that you follow the same naming convention as when you would post to a historical thread.
