General Rules
♔ Respect each other like you would like to be respected. Staff or not, everyone on the forum deserves respect, so please be respectful to each other! We love to joke around on this forum, but if it looks like it can be taken the wrong way, please refrain from saying it. If you have an issue with someone that cannot be reasonably handled, please talk to one of the administrators and we can try to work it out. We would hate to see it if people cannot get along on this forum so let’s all act like mature, responsible adults!
♔ No flaming, baiting or insults. We are a friendly forum and would like to remain so, so please do not try to antagonize other members! If we catch any signs of that going on, there will be consequences.
♔ At least 350 words per post please. This site is for intermediate to advanced role players, so please ensure you post is at least 350 words, if you wish to do more then that's very much welcomed!
♔ Proper English please. Not all people can read chat speak, so please use standard English when talking, and definitely when posting. Not everyone can read net speak and though we are not perfect, we do want to be literate!
♔ Stay active. If you make an account then we do expect you to stay active on here. Ideally we would like for you to post at least once every other week (so that you are not holding up a thread, though if you’re excited about a thread, ideally you’d be posting more often than that). There will be sporadic account clean outs so if your main account has been inactive for longer than two weeks without you leaving a valid reason then all your accounts will be deleted.
♔ Leave a note of hiatus if you need a break. We are not your parents, but it would be nice to let the people in the forum, especially the administrators know if you are not going to be around and do not delete your account based on activity.
♔ No power playing, metagaming or godmoding. Please do not take control of other peoples characters when role playing, and also make sure that you play your character in a fair manner. This means that your countries cannot dodge every hit, or have super healing skills. It would not make it as fun to play out.
♔ No swearing at members. You may swear in posts, but you may not under any circumstances direct such language at other members.
Make sure you read the posting rules, in character rules, chatbox guidelines and the forum canon before you decide to apply! There are important details in each of them!
