Posting Guidelines
♔ Follow the thread-naming format. When you post a historical thread, you can name it anything that you want and put who is involved in brackets: [like this]. However, please following the following format in the first post:
Name of Event
Years That The Event Lasted
Location
An example would be the following:
Battle of Waterloo
1815
Waterloo, United Kingdom of Netherlands
Please indicate that if there is a certain participant that must be listed in the thread (if it is a closed thread) or indicate that if it is open (like a world council meeting). We have learned that if people do not follow this format, it can become very hard to keep track of what events are being played. This way, if anyone reads your post, they are able to figure out what event you are portraying! If the names of the countries don't fit, abbreviate it.
When the thread is finished, make sure to mark the thread with (complete).
♔ Rate your thread if it needs it. Are you going to be role playing an excessively violent thread? If that’s the case, make sure you mark that at the end of the title with square brackets []. For example, I would hope to see an [M] for a thread about the Stockholm Bloodbath.
